Rewards for our Hard Work

august bounty 006Things are ripening around here.  Last week, I made pickles.  Today we made salsa.  That okra I commented about earlier has fruited and we ate some today.  It grows really fast!  I put it in a tomato and rice dish and, since this is the first time I have grown it or cooked with it, everyone at the table commented on it.  Our boy from Liberia said he used to eat it back in Africa.

    Not only do you have a bountiful crop but you also have a beautiful picture! Is that more of your daughter’s imaginative photography?

      Absolutely. She has a great deal of fun with photography and is learning new things on a daily basis.
