Rewards for our Hard Work
Things are ripening around here. Last week, I made pickles. Today we made salsa. That okra I commented about earlier has fruited and we ate some today. It grows really fast! I put it in a tomato and rice dish and, since this is the first time I have grown it or cooked with it, everyone at the table commented on it. Our boy from Liberia said he used to eat it back in Africa.
