Remember when I was trying to braid the onions several weeks ago and found out I needed to let the onions cure before I braided them? Well, I cured them and Keturah and I braided some, just to see if it works. It does. Maybe next time we will try to make them pretty. We forgot to braid the string in so we had to tie them from the outside top. It would look much better if we used a natural color twine and worked the string into the braid so it isn’t so visible. These are hanging in my kitchen from the hook that once held the boring, metal basket. They look so much more rustic than piling them into that basket!
