Our Favorite Way to Prepare Parsnips

Place chopped bacon in the bottom of an iron skillet.  Top with sliced parsnips.  Cover and bake at 350 F until the parsnips are tender.  I generally allow an hour or so. 

There are never complaints about this and rarely any leftovers!
